I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch.

Interview Details Be sure to be a specific as possible about your answers. Diversity is very important to the company, be sure to explain what it means to you in detail. They like people who are well-rounded and outgoing, as well as team players who have a passion for the brand. Wear something from the brand and be sure to be able to answer how you perceive the brand.

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch in June 2014.

Interview Details It is a structured interview that lasts 30-45 minutes, depending on how many questions you have after the formal interview (tip: have a lot of questions and get to know them!). The interviewer will evaluate you on your communication skills and ask you to give examples of how you work with others and handle conflicts. The key is to be outgoing, confident, and well-groomed.

Interview Question – Nothing hard. Just prepare by thinking of many scenarios where you worked in a team.   Answer Question

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 5 days - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch in June 2014.

Interview Details Applied online, then got a call after 1 day for an interview with the DM. Very informal interview, it was done outside the store on the waiting couches in the mall. Interview questions were very open-ended. A friend referred me to the position because he said I would get it because I'm good looking and that's what's mostly they look at anyway at Abercrombie. I ended up not getting the job. Well first of all, I didnt get any call or email and I just know because they never contacted me. I honestly thought they didnt hire me because I wasnt the regular petite skinny size girl, I am short but has curves but not fat or anything.

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch in June 2014.

Interview Details Applied online and then scheduled an interview the regional manager. Interview was about 30 minutes long, dressed casual and in clothes that fit their standard. The questions were fairly simple nothing out of the ordinary. One of them was describe a time that you had a lot of tasks to complete and I used finals week, RM giggled and said most people did too.

Interview Question – All of them questions were simple and were standard questions that I have been asked in about every interview I've ever done. Basically just describe situations and how you handled them.   Answer Question

I applied through another source and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch in April 2014.

Interview Details Generally want to see what you look like before interviewing you. I was asked to send a picture to my recruiter so they could show the district manager who does the hiring for all managers below him/her. This is an image based company so they want "great looking" people as their staff. They ask questions from a script that corporate issues, and write down the answers you give them. They are not hard questions and are all open ended asking about scenarios and situations and how you have or would react. Previous job experience is more or less irrelevant as long as you have a bachelors degree.

Interview Question – When someone wasn't pulling their weight or doing as they were supposed to how did or would you handle that situation?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – I asked if the starting salary was negotiable and was told 'no.'

Interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch

Interview Details The hiring process includes three interviews. The first one is in a group, if you pass that one you will have an interview with the HR manager and DManager where they will ask you behavioural questions. The third interview will be one-on-one with the DManager where you will be asked a few more behavioural questions

Interview Question – Tell us about a time you had to overcome a difficult situation, how did you do it and what was the end result   Answer Question

Reason for Declining – Did the whole interview process and got a call saying that I was pre-hired and they really liked my profile and would fit in well with A&F but that they would get back to me because they didn't have space available so they would have to wait for one and get back to me. It's been a couple of days so, we'll see what they have to say.

Interview Details I applied through a kiosk at the store that I wanted to work in. I was interviewed by the manager on the spot. The manager and the rest of the people working there were really friendly and kind. She didn't have much to ask me since my resume was pretty concise.

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 3+ weeks - interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch.

Interview Details it is a three part process. Contacting or being recruited by a store manager who will invite you in basically be judged by the other manager sand assistants on if you have the AnF look( are you good looking enough?). Then the Store manager will set you up with an interview with the District Manager. Who will ask you simple questions as if you we're being interview for a part time job. Its just another interview to see if you are not too smart for the AnF lifestyle but not dumb enough to forget your flip flops at home before work. They will delay the process as if theres a million people applying for the position just so the company will be short staffed nd save money by having the least amount of time in manager overlap. They will call you back with a start date and explain that it is a 3-6 month process in the MIT program before you become a key holder. within 3 weeks you will have a key, and your training abruptly ends where you have to figure out processes on your own.

Interview Question – give a detailed time when you faced a difficult situation or customer, how did you deal with it?
Why do you think you're fit for the position?
what comes to mind when you think of the Abercrombie and Fitch Brand?
Describe a time when you worked well with others.
Skittles or M&M's?
  Answer Question

Negotiation Details – A long wait for a start date, with a District Manager who refused to answer calls from people who are not current managers or have a home office area code or saved in his company issued iPhone.
