    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeksinterviewed at Citi (Mumbai) in October 2014.

    Interview

    The interview started with a test of 18 Financial Management questions. Questions were really tricky and you have to be well versed with the concepts to answer the questions. Only 5 candidates from 25 were selected for personal interview. In personal interview, questions were asked based on experience rather than what is required for the post. You have to be very confident while answering the questions. Three candidates were selected from five. Then, second round of PI was held where much more technical questions were asked. Only one candidate was selected from remaining three. All in all.... one selected from 25 candidates!!!

    Apti+coding on amcat...
    Sucks.. because the comapny doesnt consider your coding questions.. takes only your apti scores into consideration. that thing disappointed me. Good for those who have excellent apti and good coding

    Got call through job consultant.
    Worst experience ever I had in a interview .
    Interviewer may make mistake but more than 2/3 is totally unheard.
    Most of the questions like "tell me the definition type of questions" more over won't allow you to finish answers.
    If you are preparing for amazon google or ms interviews this place is not for you.
    I feel time is wasted , this review is about a particular interview not of the company,
    Neither I am putting this as frustration for not clearing it, but a junk should be labeled as junk.

    1. two telephonic round from Pune - Questions were very good and standard. Interviewer were very good. Mostly question from thread and web service

    2. Telephonic round : US/NY round : very funny round. interview were not able to communicate properly and very bad technical person.

    1. what is the default data type in Spring

    other question like

    1. what is data base cursor
    2. diff SOAP/REST
    3. difficult problem you have solved etc ..

    i got confused with the standard on interviewer and questions.

    finally , they rejected me.. :-)

    This hiring was for pune location and interview happened in Bangalore.
    I was contacted through a consulting agency, and when i went to the interview location at scheduled time, i was told that it was first come first. I had to wait for 2 hours and then in interview, Interviewer was not even listening. He was more worried about not having lunch at 2 PM. And his behavior was so rude as if he just wanted to get rid of the process.
    Questions asked:
    Tell me about executor framework.
    Difference in Future and Callable.
    Singleton and Decorator pattern.
    How two systems communicate each other?
    I answered all of them but considering his behavior I left the venue after first round.
    Will never ever apply for citi bank in my life.

    The interview process comprises of preliminary screening and then face to face interview.
    Its difficult to exactly tell how many rounds of face to face interview exist because I could only get to 8 th round.
    I can say this literally every senior person in CITI at Nirlon Park had interviewed me face to face.

    And please note that all rounds are elimination.Once manager will approve it , then your resume flows to another guy who interviews you.If succesful he forward it to third.and it goes like this.

    And guess what you don't even get the feedback.
    In my case consultant was Elixir-Web.When I asked them for feedback , they said they will let me know.Later they called me to know If company contacted me directly.
    Then after 3 months they drop a email to check if CITI directly contacted me and I joined.They dont trust their clients.

    I was shortlisted through a placement agency. The Interviewer took a Stress Interview. He poker faced asked all questions. No technical questions as such. Although he was quite perturbed about my location and travelling time, since I stay quite far from the office location.

    I have given a test for Citi group, their package is 7.5lpa(CTC). The test has no coding questions but contains a lot of reasoning, verbal, aptitude. Please do some practise on the aptitude questions. Some of my friends told me that in the next rounds of interview they asked some data warehousing related stuff(SQL)
