    Pros

    - Earn Series 7, 63, and L&D Insurance Licenses in first few weeks
    - Potential for growth and large financial gains
    - Compensation reflects performance

    Cons

    - Not paid for first 2-4 months
    - Must pay for own exam fees and study materials
    - Insurance company so managers push insurance onto clients
    - Start at 50% commission & 24k salary, so conflict of interest with clients

    Advice to Management

Don't hire as many people and focus on a more select few of qualified and driven individuals. Team managers don't have enough time to maintain own business and train team members.

    Pros

Potential to make money is high, can really own your own business and be an entrepreneur

    Cons

Making any money can take more than 6 months, market is saturated, LOTS of cold calling

    Pros

They have a very flexible work schedule. Laid back culture, allow you to work when you want. They offered to sponsor my I-9.

    Cons

I barely learned anything while working at AXA Advisors. Essentially, all you do is call 1000s of people to try to get them to work at AXA and to get customers to meet with a representative for a yearly summary.

    Advice to Management

    Give interns more work.

    Pros

Great work environment. Management and employees are friendly and happy to talk and help you with what you need.

    Cons

I was mostly assigned to do menial tasks and my day-to-day was the same almost every single day. Other tasks that I was assigned were not particularly exciting. Perhaps the only thing that I got out of this internship was that I don't want to go into the life insurance industry

    Pros

    Great management support. Good education

    Cons

Extremely expensive overhead charge for all advisors. No return on the charge. Limited products. Must seek 3rd party products constantly to be competitive or to even have a client solution. Commissions are low. Split too many ways.

    Pros

there are no pros, they don't help you get clients, the training is a joke, and they fire you if you don't hit quotas also they have a big turn over rate.

    Cons

you must pay for you licenses and they only reimburse a 80% and managers are there to take advantage of you.

  8. do not work here

    Former Employee - Financial Consultant

    I worked at AXA Advisors

    Pros

the only pro from axa is that it allows for anyone to get their licenses so they can go get a job somewhere else

    Cons

Working here is a waste of time as it is more of a pyramid scheme than an actual job itself

    Advice to Management

carefully pick who you chose to be leaders in the company, some of them tend to do some very shady stuff that could end up coming back to them.

    Pros

Great team, flexible hours, the more you put in the more you get out

    Cons

on your own, start in debt over $1,000 before you can start doing anything, employers hire you based on who you know and how many wealthy individuals you know

    Advice to Management

Find better ways to support new employees while they are studying for their tests and better ways to ease them into the business
