Pros – Good salary, good bonuses if available, excellent compensation plan, friendly coworkers, easy to move to new position internaly.

Cons – Bureaucracy thinking is very strong at all corporation levels. Too much attention spent on Achieving Excellence system rather than the projects itself.

Advice to Senior Management – Focus more on completion of the projects because they are bringing revenues to to the company.

Pros – The work is challenging and enjoyable if you're into aerospace on a personal level; there are plenty of opportunities to do very interesting and impactful work, especially if you are good at what you do. Similarly, if you are talented there are reasonable opportunities to move around or upwards.

Cons – Good work is rewarded with... more work (for the same pay, mind you). Incentive plan based on company performance of 7.5% target (we are achieving on average half of this) but rewards for individual hard work are seemingly non-existant. Antiquated HR and IT processes can be frustrating.

Advice to Senior Management – Take better care of your top-performers.

Cons – Decision making process is extremely inefficient. Bosses word is law no matter how ridiculous is the imposed strategy.

Pros – Working in an aerospace companies provides you challenges every single day with no slowing down. Work can be stressful but can feel very rewarding after completion.

Cons – Politics is huge within a company. You have to know the right people to move up

Pros – Communication is evident. Competitive salary and benefits. Employees are held to high standards - which if the company were building the product for me I would want. Great attitude with goal of becoming a world-class organization.

Cons – Silos among departments with management failing to recognize. High rate of turnover among management - but luckily employees stay within company. Finger-pointing instead of taking responsibility.
