  1. The company itself is good but the unprofessional attitude of senior managers makes it a worst company to work with.

    * Good place if you can push your ideas through
    * Enterprising employees with initiative are supported

    Cons

    * Nepotism
    * Lack of feeling of stability in company - too many leadership changes in India and US
    * Boot lickers and people taking credit for other's work
    * Discrimination in growth opportunities and pay between those in corporate functions and technology functions

    Advice to Management

Stop the 'mom and pop shop' culture.

I have been working at Fujitsu full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

There is no doubt that everyone that works at FCL is driven and customer-focused. Management also tries to ensure that training opportunities are widely available to all staff, though it is up to each person to get their own training done and to champion their development.

    Cons

It is hard to launch ideas for new services and solutions because of the inherent bureaucracy. Most initiatives are driven top-down rather than bottom up. Because of the fact that most persons already work long hours, it also difficult to justify reward and recognition programmes in a conventional way.

    Advice to Management

Keep the customer-centricity as a key focus, but it may be best to give autonomy to lower departments to promote intrapreneurial behaviour.

  9. I worked at Fujitsu

    Pros

People are high quality, hard-working. Good camaraderie.

    Cons

    Not much opportunity for advancement.

Lisbon GDC - Literally depends on your manager. If this turns the wrong way for any reason there's no place to turn to

    Pros

Relatively stable. If the contract you're working on gets to an end you can apply internally to any open vacancies before the externals do.

    Cons

There is no effective progression system in place. You depend exclusively on your manager and there is no workaround it.

    Advice to Management

Think about your internal customer. They do count. Start aplying some kind of management evaluation from the base. 360 is hard to apply but I'm sure it would be easy to have some kind of feedback from the teams who have to deal with their managers and their decisions join a daily basis.

    Pros

Work / life balance is terrific.

    Cons

The company is so large and rigid there is no flexibility to cater to the needs of individual employees.

    Advice to Management

Spend more money on training your employees in order to keep their skills relevant.
