    Pros

They have an excellent resource library through their intranet that provides valuable clinical information as well as numerous a blues for advancement whether it be clinical or administrative.

    Cons

Productivity standards coupled with inadequate electronic devices to maintain such standard unrealistic at this time and their documentation systems seems to be not up to par with their expectations and fluidity that would allow for high productivity standards

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide more access with more computers and more paper ready resources to decrease time spent on non productive administrative duties to allow for more focus on what we do best, patient care.

    Pros

Benefits almost start immediately. Thorough orientation. One of the nicer facilities I've seen in LTC (even behind the scenes).

    Cons

Orientation not on the shift you'll be working (when things are a lot different on each shift). No real money for all the hard work especially in the area I live... hard to live off this income. Co-workers are more of an issue than the residents.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create another program to help employees further their education so they'll stay with the company and to have a lower turnover rate.

    Pros

I enjoyed the therapy staff tremendously. It makes such a difference when you are with a team that works together!

    Cons

It was tough when we were short staffed, because I had to carry a lot of the weight by myself.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communication is key, no matter what role you are in, whether it be entry-level or management; I believe all staff should be treated equally and respectfully appreciated as well.
