    Awesome engineering internship

Software Engineer Intern (Former Employee) New York, NY (US)

ProsGood salary. They paid for the accommodation during the whole internship. I learned a lot from the engineers and made a lot of networking.

ConsIf you end up starting your internship close in time the Google IO or the performance reviews you'll be by yourself for a couple of weeks. Everything moves around Mountain View you pretty much have to work at the time zone even if you are in Europe of Asia.

    Precious experience in Google

PQO Intern (Former Employee) Beijing, Beijing (China)

ProsPerfect team working environment, everyone is easy going and eager for a help. You know they are professional but they will never regard them like that. Ideas are highly respected, which is a must for such high-tech companies, since the innovations are all come from some impossible even crazy ideas.

ConsThis is the hardest question, I also told my manager like this way in my last day in Google

Advice to Senior ManagementIf a team has a healthy base principles, then any operations inside such rules can be accepted. This is the key to some break through nowadays.

    A great internship experience.

Marketing Intern (Former Employee) Mountain View, CA (US)

    Pros- Smart employees
    - Great learning experience
    - Cool perks (free tasty food, gym, bikes, etc.)
    - Interesting problems to solve

ConsThere were not many cons to my internship experience at Google. However, I could see how Google is not the best place to be for certain types. For example, even though Google tries to keep up the fast-paced, creative environment, it has become somewhat bureaucratic.

    Awesome internship

Software Engineering Intern (Former Employee) Mountain View, CA (US)

ProsYou'll work with very talented and motivated people, lots of perks, state-of-the-art infrastructure. Having the opportunity to take a look at all the wonderful stuff they've developed and taking part in the creation of new tools and products is an amazing experience, especially if you're still in college.

ConsI couldn't say. The internship can be quite demanding, but it really depends on your projects, your skills and how many weeks you're staying. I wouldn't say it's a bad thing either, but I'd be prepared to be quite busy for the duration of the internship.

An amazing opportunity for anyone looking for internship

Business Associate Intern (Former Employee) Dublin, Dublin (Ireland)

    Pros- Freedom
    - Working with brilliant people
    - Flat organization
    - Loads of responsibility
    - Truly a part of the team, equal with your coworkers
    - You can have a real, lasting impact if you want and work hard for it

ConsInternal structure messy - several team in different countries may work on very similar projects without knowing of the other teams. However, this is a natural consequence of such a creative environment.
