I worked at Google as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Interesting people, great location. The on-site benefits are also good- make sure to take advantage of them if your job permits (which it might not)

    Cons

Rent is rising and traffic is congested. Make sure you have enough saved up before moving here. You likely will be severely overqualified for your job

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    why bother?

    no appreciation and encouragement
less transperency than expected from google

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

internships are meant for learning, making mistakes and mentorship, and one really needs to be appreciated for ghardwork, and guided when gone wrong
