I worked at Lincoln Financial Group full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Excellent benefits include their 401k match, HSA medical option, tele-commuting, max contribution to education, really friendly and helpful environment (I've been told it's the nicest place to work from employees coming from other companies), plus annual bonus for non-sales positions.
Cons – Quite low employee turnover so career advancement can be frustrating and high probability of doing 2+ jobs at the same time. No mentoring system in place.
Advice to Senior Management – Lots of talk about career mapping for years, but never implemented. I also suggest a mentoring and/or internship for current employees, not just for new graduates coming in via LDP.

I have been working at Lincoln Financial Group full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – They try to make work fun
Great benefits package-insurance choices, 401k match, time off
Flexible work schedules
Lots of different areas to move around to
Overall, I trust managemetn
Cons – In some areas, it's hard to move up
Lots of reorgs and uncertainty
Some who have worked there a long time seem jaded or that they are "untouchable" and don't do much work
Advice to Senior Management – I think we are on the right track. Continue to be as transparant as possible.

I have been working at Lincoln Financial Group
Pros – The salary paid is okay for the area, and the benefits are better than most companies, also the ability to have your college classes paid for is a plus.
Cons – stress levels are high in most areas due to the large volume of workloads since the staffing is low at this time to help save money, more staff needs to be added
Advice to Senior Management – Increase staffing, consistent morale issues due to large amounts of overtime to just keep up are causing burn out among your most talented employees. The rewards system among middle management is lacking causing frustration and turn over leaving short comings in staffing.

I worked at Lincoln Financial Group
Pros – Get to learn a lot about different investment vehicles. Management takes your advice if you prove you know what you're talking about.
Cons – Not much room for promotion. Management can look down upon you if you don't have too much prior investment analysis experience at prior jobs.
