    Research Intern

Research Intern (Former Employee) Redmond, WA (US)

ProsThe research internship program is really well-organized. There're housing, car rental and relocation subsidies, as well as internship only events.

ConsNo option for a return offer.

Advice to Senior ManagementConsider giving research interns options to work full-time after graduate.

    Great overall experience

Marketing Intern (Former Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsThe culture, the empowerment, the work environment, the learnings of the industry and being part of a very dynamic team, having the ability to orchestrate your own projects and making a tangible impact.

ConsOne of the fallbacks was that some work in cross-functional settings led to increased dependability in teams that had a more laid back culture which led to unnecessary setbacks in project deadlines. Nevertheless, effective communication led to quality delivery and all was good at the end.

I was one of the lucky few interns to feel like I was working at a startup with the aim of learning and not making $$$

Explore Intern (Rotation Program) (Former Employee) Seattle, WA (US)

ProsGreat intern program, GREAT pay, supportive team structure, they spoil you like crazy, beautiful location (Seattle), LOTS of design flexibility with your project, you are treated like a real member of the team

Conslow key projects in big company - fell like I don't have enough contribution. Good for first internship if you are bound to make lots of mistakes, experience depends A LOT on the individual team and manager - so not guaranteed

Advice to Senior ManagementLet the interns have a little more of a say in which project they ca work on. If they are excited about it, you'll get better results
