    Pros

Work-life balance is great, flexible schedules, work hard/play hard atmosphere - if you get you're meeting your metrics most managers will not micro-manage, fun culture - dependent on location and team, great opportunities to work with c-level contacts, NRC is very passionate about improving patient experience.

    Cons

Minimal career advancement opportunities outside of management roles, rapidly changing strategies can be frustrating, management turnover, compensation for non-sales associates.

    Advice to Management

Place more value on retaining associates: invest in training, develop career paths outside of management roles, improve compensation of non-sales associates.

Great work environment, great work/life balance, mid-range pay.

    Pros

Great place to work, awesome location if you're in Seattle (4th and Pike). Good office comradery, people are picked for their skills AND interpersonal skills. No type-A egotists or whiny babies here. Excellent work-life balance, flexible schedule, working over 40 hours per week is extremely rare. Actual open-door policy pretty much all the way up the chain. Employees are encouraged to spend time training and improving skills on the clock. I can't speak about the Nebraska office.

    Cons

Sloppy IT department, but getting better. Pay isn't amazing. The guy who plays the erhu on the street below the office is maddening.

    Pros

In most shops, business and technical requirements and project management are noticeably absent. Not at NRC. The software engineering section had one of the best teams I've ever worked with.

    Cons

Middle management doesn't provide as much information to the staff as they should. Some of the sales team make promises that cannot be delivered.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to input from the bottom of the org chart.

    Pros

    Great location in downtown Seattle.
The developers are very knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with.
Good working relationship with most everyone.
Get to use the latest technologies in MVC and .NET.
    Relaxed but fast paced environment.
    Every Friday is beer :30.

    Cons

Upper management is in Lincoln so there is a disconnect between Seattle and Lincoln.

  7. Everyone was friendly, nice company, but I did not see myself working there long term.

    Pros

Nice people. Company outings. Ability to travel.

    Cons

Some divisions were "clicky" and seemed almost like high school. Not huge areas for advancement.

    Advice to Management

More feedback on performance more often.
