    Pros

I did my summer Intern with Qualcomm and I enjoyed working at Qualcomm. The best thing about this company is you get to work with the real time projects which others companies normally not allowed interns to work on. The environment was very friendly and the people were very cooperative.

    Cons

Not a very good company for CS graduates(In terms of work but they do offer a competitive package to software developers also ;) ) the reason supporting my argument is that the development work is relatively less in India as compared to San Diego (Head Quarters Qualcomm), it also depends on which team you are part of, i did my intern in software field only but luckily i got a very good project to work upon and learnt lot of new things from it, so you cannot be sure that the team in which you are going to put in will have very good development work.

    Pros

The company culture is innovation, and the people here truly uphold that. I was always learning and being challenged. All my coworkers were friendly and willing to answer my questions. This is an engineer's dream of a company.

    Cons

I've heard that your experience at Qualcomm varies from team to team. However, from the interns and full-times that I've talked to, those "bad" teams are quite rare here.

    Pros

Although the experience might be team dependent, my team was fantastic, project was great, manager was super chill (got to go golfing with him), and the support for interns is fantastic! We had SO many intern events and were definitely well taken care of.

    Cons

Not San Diego, CA so we sometimes didn't get to work on all the cutting edge stuff.

A very good place especially if your major is wireless communications under EE/ECE in PhD. You can use what you have learned into practical product in reality.

    Cons

    Kind of busy in work.

    Pros

Qualcomm's Wireless Reach division is utilizing their cutting-edge technology in a variety of ways to improve the lives of the global population. The work was both rewarding and interesting. Great group of people to work with. Incredible benefits.

    Cons

Sometimes culture seemed a little bit static, likely due to Qualcomm's long existence.

  11. Solid Company. Good Environment

I have been working at Qualcomm as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great growth opportunity and work environment. The company sponsors many internal learning and training sessions to learn both internal infrastructures and useful skills that can be used outside the company.

    Cons

Feels like a big company. Hard to move up or around and big company bureaucracy is widely prevalent. Time commitment is extremely large as well. Most employees work long hours after going home.
