    Satisfying experience

Interim Engineering Intern (Current Employee) Hyderābād

Prosgreat environment and limited heirarchy, you get to work on best projects within the company, project teams are flexible and can be changed if one feels so.

Consthe center in san-diego is perhaps better than those in india. The opportunity to go abroad is open after two years of service.

    A Quality summers at Qualcomm

Interim Engineering Intern (Current Employee) Bangalore

ProsQualcomm provides perhaps the best benefits in the industry. Everything is paid for ( accommodation, food, transport) and you get a competitive stipend of Rs. 20,000. Each intern is assigned one mentor and one manager so you get a lot of attention. There are team outings, quizzes and the workplace itself is full of energy. Innovative thinking is encouraged and the work load is well balanced. Also it has a really high conversion ratio from intern to full time employee. employee

Consthe sex ratio is disapointingly screwed .. out of 39 interns in bangalore in summer 2012 , only 2 were girls. But then the number of girls doing engineering is really less.

    Great Company to work...

    Intern (Current Employee) Hyderābād

ProsIts an Informal Company. You get lots of Freedom to work, play , do anything.
No questions asked if you do your job right and when I say right I don't mean working your ass off :)

ConsThere is not much innovative work going down here.Usually those are done by the main team and the remaining "deterministic" work is given to the starters.

Great company to work for as an intern

Software Engineer Intern (Current Employee) San Diego, CA (US)

    Pros- Good hourly pay
    - Complete coverage for housing and relocation expenses
    - Plenty of intern events and involvement

Cons- Work experience is highly dependent on manager and team. It's possible to get stuck doing boring work all summer since it's not normally possible to transfer to a different team as an intern.

Advice to Senior ManagementHave set goals, deliverables, and dates for interns and temps before they come onboand.

    High-quality interning environment

    Interim Engineering Intern (Former Employee)

ProsExcellent housing and compensation package provided to interns. Very good mentoring program - never felt like I was being pressured, but still was able to contribute to 'real' work. Good program for moving into a full-time position.

ConsThe lion's share of the company's official attention appears to be given to groups that work at the main San Diego campus. Groups that are in other locations (even if still in San Diego) can feel a bit isolated.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
