    Pros

Ok so the pro's - Very open culture, you can walk up to seniors easily and talk to them, share your ideas. Also the company wants to innovate and is very open to listening to and implementing new ideas. Depending upon the department and country that you are in, work life balance can be good or challenging.

    Cons

Pay is not as per industry standard at least on the consumer banking side
Changes in management in the last few years have made it very cut throat and cold! Top management especially in india was very friendly and genuinely concerned about employees. Doesn't seem to be the case now. Keep it to work and thats all they want!

    Advice to Management

    Get human again!

    Pros

Strong Brand within APAC. Strength lies within Corporate /Institutional Banking

    Cons

Poor Talent Management. Poor Culture, In fighting between Sales, Credit and Collections. Political. No real strategy to dominate in the market. Leadership cocooned within UK rather than the emerging markets

    Advice to Management

Leadership is a challenge in India. Most leaders come with a 2 year horizon so the vision for the bank is reset every 2 years and hence has no real strategic value

  10. I had spent 3 years with the bank. Joined the bank in 2009. Overall my experience was neutral with the bank.

    Pros

Good work life balance, great people with lots of years with the bank

    Cons

Salaries are not at all based on performance but based on your level in the organization. Awards make up for salary. Business units goals are not aligned with management goals.

    Advice to Management

Keep your employees happy and tell them your vision as a bank. People are just working towards monthly targets.
