    Bullies

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsAll positives were completely and utterly crushed......

ConsLine managers bully their staff as they too are bullied. So you cannot approach anyone for help to prevent this as those above rule in a similar way.
Targets reached so they find something else to shout about. Humiliating, upsetting, destroying, disaster of an experience.
I quit a good job to join Tui and feel gutted I was duped from day one. False promises of what's on the horizon.
    Absolutely NO employee care whatsoever.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you wish to keep staff and save on training costs. Treat them as human beings. Value their work, educate if they fail. Praise often..

    THE BEST TRAVEL INDUSTRY EMPLOYER

Travel Adviser (Former Employee) Royal Tunbridge Wells, England (UK)

    ProsGood Salary
    Fantastic product
    Easy to use system
    Great training program
    Beautiful destinations
    Good staff offers
    Easy working environment
    Amazing team and manager

ConsMystery shoppers are probably one of the hardest things to deal with as they really stress you out and you feel unnatural serving when knowing they are going to come.

Advice to Senior ManagementTraining was great when I started and my team were fabulous. An education wouldn't go a miss as I know it really improves product knowledge.

    Great learning experience

Online Marketing and Sales Internship (Former Employee) Düsseldorf (Germany)

ProsThe senior management was very supportive in its directions and in the leadership approach. Hierarchies are rather flat, which makes it possible to have your say in decisions.

ConsCareer development and perspectives for young talents should be put a stronger focus on by senior management, in order to keep employees motivated.

Great work environment, fun people to interact with

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) New York, NY (US)

ProsFriendly staff, interesting job meeting many new people every day. Head staff is always willing to help you out and you never need to be afraid to ask for anything. Very flexible in work hours

ConsMostly part time staff, you can't make a living only doing this job, ships do not come in every day. Sometimes travel is a hassle to get there.

    Great Place to work.

Business Architect (Former Employee) Crawley, West Sussex, South East England, England (UK)

ProsGreat corporate culture. I worked in the head office as a business analyst and everyone from the cleaners to high level management had a commitment to the company and its goals. People working together on the surprisingly complex task of delivering quality hoidays to people at affordable prices. Full of really nice looking people (regardless of your preferences) as well!

ConsWhilst the corporate culture is great, the corporation as a whole was prone to fairly major and rapid mood swings. Things would seem to go from very positive to very negative dpending on individual news items and current world wide events. Admittedly I was there for the tsunami in which th company lost both clients and employees, however the reactive nature of the workplace went way beyond that understandble reactiuon to a shocking incident. Small news items would lead to big chnages in policy only to have them changed back again a few days later.

Advice to Senior ManagementA longer field of vision would lead to less corporate fire fighting.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
