    Pros

Pay for contractor/consultant legal personnel is very good and you work with very smart legal minds.

    Cons

Senior management team not flexible on negotiating flexible terms of work contract extensions. It's either their way or the highway.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible instead of just focusing on the bottom line. A lot of excellent talent working on secondment or as contractors is lost when you can't extend or work around contract periods due to budgetary constraints and other factors that can be reasonably negotiated.
