    Pros

    Great employee dining room
    Very organized structure
5 star and 5 diamond experience
One of the classiest resorts in Vegas , and guests know it.

    Cons

Front desk management was rude and seemed uninterested in the grunt workers.
Training for front desk was terrible.
    Robotic-like formalities.

Former Employee - Gourmet Server in Las Vegas, NV (US)

I worked at Wynn Resorts full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

MONEY. You will earn more tips here than most of the other resorts. Work here and your resume is golden... You'll be able to work ANYWHERE.

    Cons

Tips are great, but hourly and union wages are the LOWEST on the entire strip. Constant stress and threats. Very negative vibe and energy. Terrible morale, you hardly ever see co-workers that are genuinely happy with the company or happy to be at work, all from the negative reinforcement and constant threat of discipline. Poor management, never take account for own shortcomings and instead heaps blame on subordinates. The actual good managers never get the recognition or ever stay because only the brown nosers survive and thrive. You know what trickles down (rhymes with "it"), from the always angry big boss to the entry level workers...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

For F&B management, perhaps starting off working the counter at a fast food joint to get a better idea of food service and humanity from the ground level up.

In my dpartment it seems as though promotions to managment positions is based soley on who you know and not what you kno

I have been working at Wynn Resorts full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Wynn Las Vegas is the best hotel on the strip by far. I reach this conclusion by taking into consideration how clean and well kept the property is.

    Cons

Management. All of the supervisers and upper managment ( at least in my department ) all have worked with one another at other propertys. So the only way to get onto the managment team is to have been friends with them. Also, most of the time it's there way and thats the final decision they don't even consider employees thoughts even though many of us feel the same way.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees. If 51% of them feel that certin things should be handled differenlty then you should consider making changes.

    I worked at Wynn Resorts

    Pros

Great place to work for as long as you are ok with a steady job that you don't have to use your brain.

    Cons

No real weekends or holidays. Many weird shift hours. Too many people working there to make you feel like management really cares about you.

I have been working at Wynn Resorts full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Wynn is a great place to work because they do offer consistently. There is also an environment that fosters fairness.

    Cons

In my current position, there seems to be little, to no advancement possibilities. It also seems like the nail that sticks out gets pounded down.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want to keep your job, then don't try to be a leader. Our two heads run the show their way and want kiss ass managers that will do it the way they want. Kind of sad, but its not a bad place to be if you can stay off the radar.

Not a strong enough sense of improvement.

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Wynn Resorts part-time

    Pros

Not bad for Vegas casino standards. Good variety of opportunities if you network well. Strong market position within Vegas.

    Cons

Hiring based on buddy system, not quality of candidate. Lack of accountability, people try to not get fired, not give their best efforts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Personal improvement. Not just facilities.
