Interview Details first called the supervisor, and then an interviewed was arranged. You have to give a talk to a team, In a few days, they will let you know the result. An offer letter was sent in about two weeks. This is for technology specialist I geophysicist. Since it is an interview, you need to know what the people are doing daily, not just in the meeting room, but what they are experiencing in real work, the presentation, the stress, the frustration, etc. You have evaluate both the good and bad.

Negotiation Details – you really need to know that the company has ridiculously amount of meeting and process you have to go to. Very slow computer network. Have to be able to bear the stress. Do not just look at the money!!!! Be Aware!

Interview Details I arrived in Houston for the interview. They gave me a tour of some updated floors as a sales pitch and then I met with a few experienced engineers. I was mostly asked questions about my past experience. I was told repeatedly they would find out if I didn't know my stuff.

Interview Details Met with hiring manager and others in a panel two others in a panel interview. Interview was fairly laid back with most of the questions sounding like they came from a prescribed set. People came across as intelligent and the work was high dollar value. Described benefits were fantastic. Work environment was somewhat lacking as everyone is in cubes (although this was not show during the interview). Interview was held in a large conference room. Met with HR prior to interview to discuss benefits.

Interview Details brief, no detailed discussion about direct responsibilities. HR talks rather than the hiring manager.

Interview Details Took 3 months to get the initial call (they said it was due to reorg in the department ) - the HR phone interview went well. Got called for main interview. In the meantime also had to write 2 online tests - numerical and verbal reasoning. Not sure why the numerical since i was being interviewed for an assistant role in the contracts dept. (that job title is not listed in the menu hence i had to select contracts spec). the main interview was okay - the questions were mostly behavioral, the interviewers were very polite and courteous, but there were lots of questions on workplace/occupational safety - again not sure why since i was interviewing to be an assistant. Also when you reach their office for the interview you have to watch a safety video and answer Qs on that. All in all a positive experience though I didn't get the job, but would I apply to BHP again, yes I definitely would. I liked what I saw in general.

Interview Details After completing the online applications I received a phone call to organise a time between an HR officer and the person to whom the role is subordinate to.

An email was sent with confirmation details as well as an email with details for online psychometric testing.
