Essex Property Trust Interview Questions

The interview journey proceeded seamlessly. I engaged in a series of 5 Zoom interviews with Amber, Regina, Sherri, Desirae, and Kristen. The process was remarkably swift, with feedback often provided on the same day regarding my progression. Each interviewer displayed utmost professionalism and approachability. Their willingness to share their personal career trajectories within the company was particularly enlightening; it highlighted the organization's commitment to internal growth. Through these conversations, I gained invaluable insights into the company culture and operations, affirming my belief that my experience and skill set align well. I eagerly await their decision and extend my gratitude to the ladies for their time and consideration.

Applied online, was approached with a phone screen. Then approached for a next round zoom interview. The interviewer was a VP who was clearly in a bad mood at the start of the call and apparently had not seen my resume. He abruptly ended the interview after 10 minutes and immediately told me i was not a fit. Said my experience does not translate well for this role and made an excuse blaming the recruiter for wasting everyone's time. I've never seen an interviewer be so rude, and arrogant to immediately blame the recruiter for this. I don't know how any of this happened when the zoom interview was scheduled several days after the phone screen.

It was an interview with a negative atmosphere from the beginning. While answering questions, the interviewer kept interrupting the answers. I applied because I really liked this company, and the responsibilities of the position were very similar to mine, so I had high expectations, but the interview was very disappointing.

Relatively behavioral. The interview was insightful and engaging. The interviewer asked relevant questions and seemed genuinely interested in the candidate's responses. The candidate's answers were well-structured and highlighted their skills and experience effectively. Overall, the interview appeared to be a positive exchange, showcasing the candidate's qualifications and potential fit for the role

4 total interviews that was a month long process. A few empty promises were made in the midst of interviews by hiring managers and interviewers which makes me slightly wary about applying again in the future. It seems as though they were more interested in ideas to implement for their current employees rather than seeing how others could leverage experience and knowledge into helping the company grow as a whole. Aside from the empty promises and lack of appropriate updates for job application it was great opportunity to learn more about Essex new business model.

was lead to believe I would be contacted for an interview with supervisor over the phone,but was sent a rejected email.There is a reason why this company is hiring often,not an equal opportunity employer.

Interview process dragged too long, over a month.Team was inconsiderate . HR gave conflicting information. They ask for a bunch of samples of work(excels etc).Had multiple zoom interviews and on-site interviews including a panel interview to present a 'homework' case study. Almost felt like they are holding fake interviews to steal ideas from candidates. 5 interview rounds felt totally unnecessary for a non-tech role.Was rejected after 5 rounds.

The process took three rounds of interviewing for me. I took another offer during the process, but it was a very good interview process that felt very fair. I would recommend people study real estate concepts before applying.

Quick and Great turnaround. I placed my application and within 4 min of submit button, I had a phone call from the recruiter to set up an interview within that day or the next day on site. When arriving early onsite the detailed instructions given were very clear on what was the next steps during arrival. I was greeted at the door with a positive attitude by team members and also greeted by the Hiring manager a few moments later. The hiring manager eased my nervousness and made me feel comfortable by starting with a general conversation and letting me know more about Essex. then went into interview questions. Within 4 hours that day, I received a call for an extended offer.

My Interview was done with two gentlemen on one of their apartment complexes near me. It was a more relaxed setting but very professional. Mostly scenario questions based on how you would delegate through a situation.
