Interview Details Campus interview.
The interview process has a maximum of three rounds.
In the first round questions are mainly focused on core JAVA. These questions vary significantly after 20 minutes and based on your performance on that time frame.
In the second round more or less the questions are alike as of first round, but tests your Java skill a bit deeper and further deeper. Much deeper questions are asked only when you are done well for the previous one and only if they are optimistic about you.

Software Engineer Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through an employee referral - interviewed at GE in July 2014.
Interview Details the interview is a two round process. first round a phone interview is taken in this they asked about my projects and questions related to the projects. then asked "c". mostly dynamic programming then they asked SQL commands and some sql functions and also they asked question about TCP and UDP
Interview Question – there were no such difficult questions. they asked about the diffence between calloc and malloc like that questions Answer Question
Senior Analyst Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 months - interviewed at GE in August 2010.
Interview Details Applied through GE careers web site. Received call from GE consultant - had three rounds - technical/managerial/HR - relatively easy to crack. Interview becomes more difficult as you attempt for higher designations. The entire process took about 2 months from initial round to final. But at the end of it, it was worth it.
Interview Question – Long term and short term plans View Answer
Negotiation Details – Though salary was lesser than asked, they provided stuff like fully paid relocation/accomodation for 15 days with food etc. Also received a hike in few months after joining
Senior Design Engineer Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through college or university and the process took a day - interviewed at GE in May 2010.
Interview Details Two Technical Round, One Managerial Round and one HR round. If its a fresher level then you might need to appear for technical and logical exam. First round mostly focus on Core Java , spring , J2ee, Some questions on the project that you did in past.

Lead Engineer/Technologist Interview (Negative Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at GE in August 2011.
Interview Details Got a call from consultancy. Had my resume sent and shortlisted. Attended the phone interview and got through. Attended the 1:1 interview and got through. Attended the HR interview. But was totally unhappy with Salary

Interview Details Had gone through an internship process with them during my B School. After the internship i received a pre placement offer which i converted. 4/10 students made it from my campus

Lead Engineer/Technologist Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied in-person and the process took 5 days - interviewed at GE in April 2010.
Interview Details first HR will short list your CV applied and then send it to line manager who is seeking to fill the positions. If Short listed CV fits good, then telephonic interview for 1hour long then personal interview will be there.

Very Easy Interview
IMLP Interview (Positive Experience; Very Easy Interview)
I applied through college or university and the process took a day - interviewed at GE in December 2013.
Interview Details Hiring was simple and quick. Very friendly process. Mostly interviews were on your resume , so if you are comfortable with your past and experience , it would be a rather easy walk

Engineering Intern Interview (Neutral Experience)

Interview Details First they asked for the list of students of the class and shortlisted a few based on the percentage obtained in engineering. Then ther was a group discussion round and topic given to us was "THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON DAY TO DAY LIFE". Then ther was a personal interview for those who cleared the group discussion.
