Interview Details 2-3 rounds of Interviews

Interview Details There were 3 rounds, 2 technical rounds and 1 manager/HR round. Skills required were C, Networking, Linux programming. 3 rounds of interview was completed within 2 to 3 hours. The interviewer were cool and calm, not intimidating and were giving solutions for questions that I had no answer. Overall it was a good experience.

Negotiation Details – There was little to no negotiation for me. I could only get 30K Rs (per annum) more than I asked for.

Last Saturday i had a wonder interview experience with HCL Tech Sec 60 Noida.

1st Round : Written/Programmatic
1.) Write a pseudo code for bodmass principle 5*4 + 5/5 + (9^7)
2.) Find the occurrence of word in sentence example
a. word: Sugar
b. Sentence: Some sugary Thoughts are sugar intensive or sugarExtensive.

2st Round- F2F
1.)Difference between JRE and JDK?
2.)New Features in Java 7
3.)enum : usage
4.) How to make a class singleton using Enum.
5.)What is has Code
6.) String Vs StringBuffer Vs String Builder
7.) Difference b/w equals and == method
8.) How will you skip catch block.

3RD Round – F2f with Managers
1.) Sql Query for displaying
a. Table Employee: EmployeeID,EmployeName,ManagerID
As EmployeeID,EmployeName,ManagerID,ManagerName
2.) Design Pattern: A class is generating a random number and other is calculating average continuously which DP you will apply.
3.) O/P

Interview Details Most complicated interview process . questions tease mental ablity to solve tough technical questions. some questions are puzzle oriented . we have to tackle very hard to solve difficult questions . first time looks easy but tough to solve .

Negotiation Details – no negotiataion

Interview Details Hiring process of HCL for campus selection having 3 rounds
1. Technical round
2. Project round
3. HR Round

Technical round : This round was about my current project and they have asked few question on academics

Reason for Declining – Payscale offered is too low, got a better offer

Interview Details The first round was a written round. Basic questions in quant and english.
There was a pseudo technical HR round after a gap of a few hours in the form of a group discussion.
Third round was a straight forward technical round with questions on programming basics, college level academic projects and other personal projects.

Interview Details 1written and 2 technical rounds..followed by HR and Managerial round

Interview Details I had a direct round with manager handling the project. He tested my C skills, and a little os OS concepts. He was knowledgeable person.

Negotiation Details – i asked for 5L pa.. But with a little negotiation i settled down for 4.5lpa

Interview Details Interview process was happened for HCL client Yahoo !!
Interviewer basically are internal person who deployed at client location in my case it's yahoo consultant . There is 3 guys took my interview and finally after 1~2 month I got offer.
When I was totally confirmed that I was through the interview but I didn't got any offer and I loose hope suddenly one day I got offer coming from HR so always keep in touch with mail conversation whether you got response or not this is what HCL's HR always "Late Latif"

Negotiation Details – Negotiation is not depends on your skills or work experience too much. The HR not gonna listen you lot . they can offer you as less as they can . even bands also like this may be lesser exp. then you get the higher band and higher position . This is what you can easily exp. in HCL . Always HR traps you in policies .
