Interview Details There were 3 rounds, 2 technical rounds and 1 manager/HR round. Skills required were C, Networking, Linux programming. 3 rounds of interview was completed within 2 to 3 hours. The interviewer were cool and calm, not intimidating and were giving solutions for questions that I had no answer. Overall it was a good experience.

The first round was a written round. Basic questions in quant and english.
There was a pseudo technical HR round after a gap of a few hours in the form of a group discussion.
Third round was a straight forward technical round with questions on programming basics, college level academic projects and other personal projects.

Interview process was happened for HCL client Yahoo !!
Interviewer basically are internal person who deployed at client location in my case it's yahoo consultant . There is 3 guys took my interview and finally after 1~2 month I got offer.
When I was totally confirmed that I was through the interview but I didn't got any offer and I loose hope suddenly one day I got offer coming from HR so always keep in touch with mail conversation whether you got response or not this is what HCL's HR always "Late Latif"

For UI perspective nothing more they ask but you should have to prepare :
HTML :- cross browser issues, box model, HTML div and other element
CSS:- CSS hacks, CSS tweaks
PHP: oops concepts
mysql: query
Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Negotiation is not depends on your skills or work experience too much. The HR not gonna listen you lot . they can offer you as less as they can . even bands also like this may be lesser exp. then you get the higher band and higher position . This is what you can easily exp. in HCL . Always HR traps you in policies .
