I applied through college or university and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at J.P. Morgan in September 2012.
Interview Details One phone interview. Basically wanted to know if you can work the right amount of hours, are willing to work a heavy workload, can talk on the phone. Other than that the main questions are typically about your market opinions (i.e., what do you think about fixed income, equity, etc.). Pretty easy interview process, guys are pretty cool.
Interview Question – What is your opinion on the equity market and what strategy would you take to take advantage of it. View Answer
Negotiation Details – None, unpaid. More like trying to figure out if you could work 25-30 hours a wekk.
