The interviews at Kroger are pretty straight forward and easy. They don’t ask any hard to answer questions, pretty basic questions about yourself and why you would be a good fit. Don’t stress about it. Stress business casual to make a good impression on the person that is doing the interview.
- Tell me about yourself ?

Few questions about the store and its policy, history. After the interview is done will let you know by Tommorow if hired. If hired, then a backround screening and drug testing should be done and passed.

It was very relaxed and easy. They didn't really ask any behavioral questions, but mainly about if you would be a right fit for the company. The interviewer was very relaxed and friendly.
- Tell me about yourself. Why do you want this position?

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Schofield, WI) in Nov 2023
It certainly wasn't like any other "professional" interview that I've experienced. Asked mediocre questions, half of which did not pertain to the job description. It seemed as if the interview was decided before they appeared on screen. I do get a sense from the interview, it’s a job that promises a lot, but delivers if you have a solid store. If you don’t…
- Can you tell us about a time you made a mistake with a guest? How did you learn from that experience?

Another Company that can't Walk its very own Talk. Kroger Corporation states they are very concerned with Culture. Yet, in their first level of interviewing, they use a decade-old one-way video third-party platform. And within the first thirty seconds of their three-minute explanation of why they use this platform, they discriminate using the term "You Guys." Did no one take DEI 101 training Kroger? Beware People.
- Five Ambiguous Questions, all Scenario-based.

Asked simple questions based on availability and transportation. Simple interview process that didn’t last very long. I spoke to two managers during the whole process. It took a long time to get an interview scheduled after I applied online and had to continue to call to follow up
- Do you have a reliable method of transportation
