No Offer – Interviewed in Boston, MA (US) Feb 2013 – Reviewed Feb 27, 2013
Interview Details Applied on campus and received an invitation for an interview after a few weeks. The recruiter was VERY social and nice. She started off asking me about myself and from there we talked about my likes, why I picked accounting, why I picked the school I did, etc. Then we talked about the company more and what kinds of social things they do. It seems like a great company from what she told me. It seemed very much like a conversation and she didn't ask weird behavioral questions like weaknesses or any of those "name a time when....." questions.

Interview Details Interviewing for the Pathways Program was not lengthy, nor was it super stressful. After applying for the program by simply submitting my resume, I was selected for the interview process. There was only one interview, which took place on my college campus. Overall, it was relatively informal and more conversational than expected. I think the most important thing McGladrey is looking for is candidates that can fit in with the down-to-earth culture of the firm.
