Got to know about the opportunity from consultancy firm in Delhi. the interview went pretty smooth and timely. Started around 9:30 am in the morning and was completed by 2 pm. For the position of Team Lead i had 3 rounds F2F ..
1 - Round 1 consisted of a Program Manager interviewing me on my current role and processes we follow and how we follow. Concentration was on what I have done and how I have done.
2 - It was a technical round of 30 min with questions on Java, little bit Multithreading. The interviewer asked questions after reviewing by CV.
3 - Round 3 was completely management taken by an experienced Project Manager and Business Unit Head. It had several questions on methodologies, how to handle customers, practical scenario's like if you are not able to complete a task by committed deadline how will you inform the customer, what will you say etc. It also had behavioral questions. Questions if you have ever done a PIP, how did you handle the emotional part of it etc.
Interview Question – No question was really difficult. As they were also judging the behavioral and customer facing skills few questions might seem unexpected to a few if you have not faced such roles before. View Answer
Negotiation Details – In my case negotiation was mainly done on the joining date as I was satisfied with the salary offered. It went well.
