I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3+ weeks - interviewed at Thomson Reuters in December 2011.

Interview Details 1st Round Telephonic, 2nd and 3rd (Manager) 1:1, 4th HR Round again telephonic. HR round is nothing important here, 1st and 2nd round is completely technical mostly on Sql, plsql and some parts in Forms and Reports also were asked and any department in technical or QA you should be knowing XML.

Interview Question – about the server side questions, DBA tasks were asked and i was silent on those areas   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – negotiation was too bad for me, but we should be strict on our targets and business is required means will get the desired figures else no chance

Interview Details I was contacted by the talent acquisition team through job portal. The process involved one telephonic round for an hour, which was followed by panel interview and then HR discussion.

Interview Question – Most of the questions were related with my past experience, but the interviewer wanted me to deep dive in every project that I discussed. He was more keen to know if I have really gone deep to work on my finding.   Answer Question

Interview Details Shortlisted based on the Recruitment Agency and then sent to the company site for further rounds. Written & Three Rounds of Interview. Interview rounds were first with the HR, then the Team Leader and finally with the Area Manager

I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Thomson Reuters in April 2014.

Interview Details 2 Rounds Technical followed by 1 HR round. questions on Questions are basic starting from OOPs Concepts, String Handling, Exception Handling, Collections, JDBC, JSP, Servlets to Frameworks. If you are 5+ years of experience then expect questions from design patters as well. Over all they check you attitude and technical abilities.

I applied through a recruiter and the process took a day - interviewed at Thomson Reuters in March 2014.

Interview Details I got a call from the HR with reference to my resume in a Job portal and scheduled a F2F interview on a weekend. The interview happened in the Yamlur road office in Bangalore.

Interview Question – The interview process was good but the questions were too theoritical. For a 6+ years professional in Java/J2EE they had a couple of ladies with barely 3 years of experience in the panel.
1) What is the Servlet class hierarchy?
2) What will happen if you call Servlet's destroy method from init method?
3) Design a class diagram and write the high level logic for a game of chess

I found most of the questions were from a website in the list of J2EE interview questions. And these ladies were not ready to take any answer other than whatever they see in the website or think is correct.

Please have people with good understanding on technology and enough experience in the panel
