West Edmonton Mall Interview Questions

I was called and I missed the call twice due to school and it's kind of difficult to call back as they don't have a direct line but rather you have to go through multiple options and then through 2 departments. Once I called them back and talked to them about it, the interview was quickly set up but it was during school hours. The interview itself was alright, it was direct and my interviewer was pretty nice and open but they lost my resume. They also made me walk around galaxyland for 5 minutes and asked me what I noticed. There was no post interview interaction as I was hired on the spot and apparently a lot of my co-workers were also hired that way. As for the co-workers majority of them are pretty nice and friendy but management can be a pain.

They ask a lot of questions about things that can impact your hiring potential and you have to be a very smart person to answer these very easy questions because it is an interview

Awkward and straight forward, but also relief, same person interview me again for a rehire and did not recognized me, strengths and weakness, did i recognized anyone there, waiting on HR to call me and they said it should take somewhere from a week but waited for months and days till no call and probably threw out my resume finding out they had hired 30 different people and hearing rumors about the workspace that had became toxic to other employees.

The managers were very sweet and did their best to make you feel welcome. The interview process was very short and I was hired on the spot. I was called to interview the day after I gave in my resume.

At first, there was a phone screening to ask you pre-interview questions as well as what your expected salary is. The in person interview was done with the Digital Marketing Manager and the Manager of Marketing and Communications at West Edmonton Mall's Admin office. It began with an overview of the specific tasks the position requires and then dove into skill and behavioural questions. The interview lasted for about 30 minutes.

Short and sweet. Don’t have to answer too many questions. Emphasize how following rules and safety guidelines are important and you will get the job easily. Don’t stress everyone gets it

The interview was only last for 15 minutes and it was really easy. She was really nice and asked me some basic behaviour questions. If you have been lifeguard before, you will get the job.

Applied online through company website. Set up an interview in person a few weeks later. Standard interview questions were asked. Received a call a week later and accepted the position.

Ask questions in return so to seem interested. You'll be asked if you're a team player and all the other generic questions. Always portray confidence.
