Former Employee - Management Consulting Manager in San Jose, CA (US)

I worked at Accenture full-time (more than 3 years)

    all paid traveling
    4+ weeks time off
compensation is decent, benefits are pretty standard

anti meritocracy. your chance in getting promotion is pretty much depend on whether someone like you, than your work performance
challenging team building, perhaps to due dog eat dog culture. i've seen analyst/consultant level argued with each other in front of client, just to prove a point, which was embarrassing
limited professional development. you get a week of mandatory training at each level, and that's it
depending on which project you are in, not much of work life balance. it is more like work-work balance
(fyi, i worked for about 3 years, and was promoted to a manager level less than 2 years, so not a disgruntled employee)

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
