You are forced to fight for your job every 6 months with all of the restructuring and reorganizing.

    I worked at Ashland full-time

    Pros

It is somewhat flexible work life balance. Most employees value their job and do good work. Lots of knowledgeable people available to ask questions.

    Cons

Some people have nothing to do or do absolutely nothing and others have so much to do that they have no time to get it all done. There are integrations/huge projects every 1.5 years that require all of your time but don't forget your day job. Purchasing new companies requires each department to reorganize so the boss you have today will probably not be your boss tomorrow. A good ole boys culture and super cliqueish.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
