    I have been working at Catlin Group full-time (more than a year)


    Catlin has fantastic values. Employees are treated great. The benefits are amazing; I've regularly heard others share how Catlin US has the best benefits of any company they've ever worked at (list any major insurance company). Communication is free flowing throughout the company, and I have never felt pressured to withhold ideas or opinions at any level. Catlin supports it's employees in maintaining life outside work, and encourages Charity work.


    The US development program is still maturing. Massive resources are provided to teaching, improving, and educating graduates, and ambitious learners can succeed. However, the structure of the program is still developing and may be for some time. Graduates have the world at their fingertips, but determining the best way to access and digest the knowledge can be confusing. Graduate salaries are competitive to start (especially considering the resources and time put into your development), but can stagnate (this may apply to any starting position).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    This may have already occurred, but assign a permanent and devoted CDP HR employee. It would be nice for the candidates themselves to have this stability, as well as providing a person for other employees to contact with questions (which abound).
