    It's a one-sided road, so if you aren't willing to brown nose, then there's no chance to get promoted to a better position!

    I worked at Core-Mark full-time (more than 5 years)


    The benefits were just ok.


    It was like squeezing water out of a rock! I did everything right, customers adored me. But since I was not willing to kiss anybody's butt, then I had no chance of getting promoted. Between not enough equipment & unhappy customers, this company is getting 1 star, really they deserve zero stars because all the people who are in charge have no inclination as to what they are doing. This is the worst company I've ever worked for! I mean put a bunch of monkeys in charge & they'd do a much better job! I just can't believe they've been around over 100 years, it just blows my mind.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get rid of all in charge & put some new people in there that know what they're doing. And stop promoting people into management positions just because they're good close friends/relatives of someone else who already works there. Because when you do this, it shows that "it's not about knowledge, experience or hard work. But about who you know". And that's the worst way you can run a company! Why do you think there's such a high turn over rate? Oh just one last thing. Do more for your employees other than a once a year Knott's Berry Farm picnic to show your appreciation for them.
