I have been working at Energizer Holdings

    Pros

Flexible hours, good work/personal life balance, cross-functional training opportunities, personal development, and nice people (good friends)

    Cons

Over the course of 2 years, the environment has changed drastically providing the economic downturn. Realizing every business is going to have its ups and downs, the general consensus was the manufacturing footprint was going to change to accommodate the weakening economy. However, I never expected for the company to jeopardize their high level of customer service. This quality clearly differentiating themselves from competitors but now the focus has changed to cost savings vs. gaining incremental business opportunities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sr. Leadership is making decisions they feel is best for the company and shareholder satisfaction. I don't want to agree/disagree with those decisions because I'm not in their position. From an employee standpoint, the decisions being made do not align across departments breeding an interdepartmental cut throat nature. Amidst a working capital reduction, business separation, and still high expectation (we've created) for great customer service; employees left to uphold what seems to be unrealistic goal expectations providing the resources.
