Former Employee - Order Coordinator in Brampton, ON (Canada)
Former Employee - Order Coordinator in Brampton, ON (Canada)

I worked at Entertainment One full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Many of the entry level staff and staff that work in the warehouse are so kind and hardworking
    The pay is average
You get discount on the product they distribute

    Cons

This company has little to no ethics. I was told that I was applying to a office position but they neglected to tell me that position was in their warehouse and that I had to wear steel-toed boots everyday. Additionally I was told in my contract that I would received 10 days vacation but then when I started I was told that I didnt get those vacation days till next next and that they had a vacation block for the rest of the year. My supervisor was also very disrespectful and most supervisors spoke to staff will very little respect. The leadership style is very much into micromanagement and bullying tactics. LAstly, I went to HR several times and they were never able to assist me on issues pretaining to my hiring contract! they always passed me on to management. Lastly, the work conditions were deplorable. The kitchen areas inside the warehouse were unsanitary because the garbage was always overflowing. Inside the washrooms instead of placing the toilet paper in the toilet it is place in a garbage din (uncovered) beside the toilet. I was the worst feeling working there

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest in your hiring practices and then once you get employees treat them with respect and appreciate their hard work. Also, HR: please start assisting in workplace matters since you are the ones that hire.
