Current Employee - Liability Claims Representative in Dallas, TX (US)
Current Employee - Liability Claims Representative in Dallas, TX (US)

I have been working at GEICO full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Somewhat competitive salaries,
    Great people to work with,
    Supportive supervisory teams,
    Tuition assistance for undergraduate students

    Cons

Parking (A large population of employees are having to park off-site and either walk or shuttle to and from the building),
Several supporting departments are understaffed and tend to delegate more onto those busy with his or own responsibilities rather than increasing staffing levels in other internal business units, tuition assistance not available for graduate students
Company tends to make staff work harder rather than smarter (redundancy in processes and procedures)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Company prides itself on being a low-cost provider and it shows with lack of implementing new processes or further structure to help alleviate some of the workload across several business units.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Approves of CEO
