    Pros

-District manager and store manager in Rocky Mountain district are focused on personal development
-Incentives with sales programs, definetely not a scam but an added benefit to both the customer and employee
    - Valuable and reoccurring customer base, I enjoy my frequent shoppers
    - Benefits, PTO, sick time ( even for part timers) employee emergency relief fund, discounts through toolbox of savings
-support system built through other stores in district
    -A positive team environment
-Growing company. This leads to a lot of room to move up and grow with the company
    -Annual and mid year reviews

Overall this is a great company to work for. At my store, we value coaching to our sales programs, and all of our priorities. There are a few office politics, but your ability to hold your peers accountable will determine your outlook on that. I see a lot of negative experiences on here, but I think, especially if you're a self motivated person, that if you have a postive outlook rather than a negative one all the time; more so with the challenges experienced (late trucks, large replenishment, busy registers) that your experience will definetely be changed and improved.

    Cons

-can be stressful ( but retail can always be stressful)
    - turnover due to low pay and job stress
    - our trucks don't show up on time, making us rearrange days and staff to unload
-endcap/ad flat pogs change monthly, I think it should be switched to bi- monthly or simply quarterly
-Im not a fan of side walk sales, but I see the value in them when we have 100k SWS weekends
    - larger census. Part time employees are working More than 20 hours in a week, I would rather have More hands to call In when we need to spend payroll as well.
-A lot of theft At my store (7pm is usually the time). An extra employee at that time could improve directed customer service as we recover store to standards. Would like more security surveillance throughout the store and parking lot.

    Advice to Management

-Improve benefits of our ITC ( points, whole transaction % off coupons, more drivers to bring customers in.
-Improve ITC pricing (time consuming and challenging to stay fully priced for ITC ad because they always fall down)
-Improve hourly pay for associates. A starting rate of 10 or 11 per hour would greatly improve the way employees feel about working here.
    - Give stores a payroll % exclusively used for training ( not only assigned training through ADP, but to really individualize the level of training we give our employees )
-Self cleaning blue mats (haha, just kidding)

No other advice, but excited for the development and future successes of the company, and more excited to be a part of it!
