I worked at Kroger as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

-You get to work with several different project managers
-There is a wide variety of projects (small remodels, expansions, new store construction)
-Great mentors and a very friendly atmosphere
-Great pay for a summer internship
-You get to work with the GC and subs a lot

    Cons

-Lots of shadowing and barely any responsibilities
-There were hours everyday when I wasn't given anything to do and no one was in the office

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

-Have a more structured intern program that gives more responsibilities so that the interns are busy rather than twiddling their thumbs continually asking what can I do or help with?
