    Pros

Zero expectations from management... actually that's not really a good thing.

    Cons

No direction or long term strategy, just bring in jobs and recruit then repeat repeat repeat! Management seems to fly by the seat of their pants.

Huge lack of resources as pointed out by other reviews: something like 2 shared CareerBuilder and Monster accounts for the entire company. Horribly outdated ATS system (Maxhire).

Management is unwilling to spend money to make money (events, technology etc.)

They basically hire anyone off the street, which leads to huge turnover. Very few people with good pedigrees, with most coming from no-name agencies.

Zero career growth. It's a very flat organization, and titles mean nothing (everyone is at least a Director).

Zero respect from other groups In Marcum. The parent company won't even give access to their clients!!

Internal competition with Marcum Technology which does almost the exact same thing!

Consistent errors in AR and commission reports.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create a consistent hiring process. Update your technology and don't be afraid to spend money on tools like LinkedIn. Consider separating from Marcum LLP... other than start-up capital and basic pay-roll systems they are adding zero value. No one outside of accounting (and even many in it) have no idea who Marcum is so the branding is irrelevant. At this point (over 5 years into existence) you shouldn't need Marcum LLP.
