I worked at National Cable Communications full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The DC office really appreciates that you are doing what is essentially data entry all day long and strives to make you feel appreciated and to make the office environment lighthearted and fun. They encourage you to take breaks to walk around the office in order to give your legs a little movement and your eyes a break from the computer. You have lots of opportunities for overtime. And the salary is competitive as far as temp work goes. Every Wednesday was Bagel Wednesday and management brought in bagels for the office. Occasionally, bonuses were charged with the temps too.

    Cons

You are doing data entry all day long so you end up sitting for long periods of time staring at spread sheets.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think that management did a great job. They managed to make temporary employees feel appreciated and valued. That's no small feat.
