I worked at Nationwide full-time (less than an year)

Everyone is super nice and helpful. I was never scared to ask questions. The training program for non injury liability was great! You got to get a feel of all the departments and lots of hands on training. You don't really need prior claims/insurance experience.

No overtime! There were a lot of people that worked almost 3 or 4 hours after their shift ended and they received no additional compensation. The volume of claims can be high but the office i worked at handled New England, PA, NY, and NJ. The salary is a bit lower based on other insurance companies in the same field. Mandatory alternative shift (evening or saturday/sunday shift) after you become "certified." The alternative shifts you get are based on business need so you might want to work evening but there might not be an opening so you get stuck where ever they need you and you have to do that shift at least 9 months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop the favoritism! and talking to employees like they are your children. I think the level of respect should be the same for everyone.
