    I have been working at Speridian Technologies full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Good exposure at entry level.
    Workaholics will love.

    Cons

    No work-life balance
    Non-existent middle management.
    Managers are inefficient in terms of balancing employee concerns and project demands.
    Employees are paid for 8 hours to work 24x7.
    Poor task delegation(Few employees are overloaded, others are jobless)
    Lack of communication between managers and subordinates.
    Technical skills will not valued. Have seen highly skilled employees leave due to office politics.
    Work is measured by time in office and not by the quality or productivity. (Stupid employee sitting in office from 9-midnight is valued over a smart employee finishing his work by 6)
    Leaving office at 6 is frowned upon.
    Appraisals will be based on availability and work done after 6. Work completed during working hours is more or less like a duty.
    An ideal employee for the company has freedom to come in late in the morning but must stay past midnight working.
    Horrendous leave policies.(Leaves cannot be encashed, must finish them and everything cannot be carried forward)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire some management staff (at least someone who has an MBA degree)
    Hire quality HR staff that addresses the concerns of employee and not the management. HR is more like Management serving Resources.
