It is the beginning of the end for St. Jude Medical unless there a drastic change in the Program Management Department.

I have been working at St. Jude Medical full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

If you want to lie & if you want to misrepresent your data to regulatory agencies & the FDA than this is the company you want to work for.

    Cons

Still working on legacy & antiquated products and it is presented to the public as if it is the most advanced technology on the market. Program Management philosophy is to underestimate deadlines deliberately in order to 'challenge' workers to find a way to deliver in inadequate time. Shortcuts qualification / validation tests are regularly implemented.

There are many inexperienced senior managers, directors, & VPs who got promoted in the last in the last 8 - 10 years, some of them year after year with absolutely no deliverables. Not enough worker bees to get everything done. Too many incompetent Sr. Directors & VPs are running the show with very heavy business politics & ego-driven. Too much money invested in poorly designed products. Lack of quality. Too many band aids and not enough permanent fixes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Support research and development instead of buying companies left and right. Trim top heavy and expensive leadership, and support rest of company.

Stop being reactive to issues that you tackle with the FDA created by this incompetent, unskilled, & useless Program Management personnel instead be pro-active and eliminate this Program Management Dept. or change all Program Management staffs.

Stop chasing after every little buzzword that comes along. Otherwise close your doors. You are not number 1. You will never be! This company has become the KMART of Medical companies

Practice being ethical and stop deceitful, dishonest & lying to the FDA.

Hell no, I would not recommend this company to anyone. It’s a pit.
