    Pros

    Mission. Dynamic work environment. People know each other and are friendly. Visionary leadership. Good salaries and benefits. A lot of employee activities. Many opportunities to make an impact. Great training programs like on six sigma and change management.

    Cons

    constant demands make work-life balance difficult. Can be professionally isolating because Joint Commission employees don't have natural peer groups. company structure makes decision making difficult. tendency to be conservative

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    hire senior leaders that are forward looking. consider creating a formal outplacement program so that employees are only expected to stay 5-7 yrs and then leave. consider programs that support employees who travel or work elsewhere.
