Great company if you're on the right team(big company-family friendly). Must love change. Little room for advancement.

I have been working at Time Warner Cable full-time for more than 3 years

    Benefits are amazing
Even though the company has 50K employees, you work with people who feel like it's a small company and its very family friendly. I've had family tragedy in the past couple of years and the company is "family first" if you've proven yourself to be a hard worker.

Things never stop changing. In my 4 years, we've been re-org'd 3 times. Even folks who are huge contributors get RIF'd and it's difficult to see that happen. Your career can take a strange turn if you're put on a team you know little about and make your resume a little tough to follow. I'm classically trained brand / communications marketer, now I'm on a completely different team (but still working).
Navigating all the different intricacies of who works on what team in order to get your large scale project done can be quite difficult sometimes. You have to be willing to ask a lot of questions.
Hard to work in merger times not knowing if you're going to be laid off or not.

Change is good sometimes....but too much change is chaos.
