Roles and Responsibilities

The Salesforce Technical Architect will design, implement, and maintain IT systems for business clients. They are responsible for designing the structure of new technology systems, overseeing the implementation of programs, and liaising with the software development team.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Design, document, and deliver secure, compliant and high-quality Salesforce solutions based on best practices and business needs.
• Facilitate continuous improvement within the project environment using agile methodologies.
• Work with development teams to design and implement enhancement and new functionality in Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Support analysis and design for data migration and integrations.
• Develop Salesforce prototypes and applications.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and advise on the impacts of each release to existing applications.
• Establish client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Document best practices and operational procedures.
• Up to 10% travel may be required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Familiarity with systems integrations such as CRM, Content Management, Commerce, or Web Analytics.
• Minimum of 5 years demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and supporting Salesforce solutions meeting complex business requirements.
• Current Salesforce Platform App Builder and Salesforce Platform Developer certifications
• Experience with standard development tools – VSCode, Eclipse, Salesforce CLI, Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Git.
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
• Knowledge and experience with Salesforce DevOps.
• Passion for quality and continuous improvement of processes and software, well versed with software engineering practices.
• 6 years of Salesforce experience in a technical role.
• Must have a Bachelor of Arts or Science.
• Authorized to work for any U.S. employer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Salesforce Architect certifications (Development Lifecycle and Deployment, Integration Architecture, Data Architecture and Management) is highly preferred.

The salary listed is based on the Washington, DC area location and years of experience, candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the salary range associated with that location and years of experience. Must be able to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST).
