Supply chain managers oversee a firm’s day-to-day business. They are employed by a wide array of industries, ranging from financial services to consumer goods firms. Supply chain managers typically have extensive expertise in a specific field and some training in business management and leadership. They generally hold a bachelor’s degree in a field like logistics or supply chain management. Candidates can also work towards the role by training through the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, or taking on an apprenticeship as a supply chain practitioner.

Experience: 5-8 years.

Warehouse & Logistics Manager Responsibilities:
· Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes.
· Overseeing and monitoring of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
· SMOI – Slow moving of inventory report in quarterly once.
· Stock cycle count minimum 5 items of FG and RM to be checked in every month end and report.
· Ensure that GRN made based on the PO and submit the invoice in daily basis.
· Organizing warehouse, categorizing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments
· Tackling and resolving any issues or complaints that may arise.
· Supervising, coaching, and training the warehouse workforce.
· Keeping track of the cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets.
· Working in conformity with laws, regulations, and policies.
· Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
· Overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods or materials.
· Resolving delivery inconsistencies or delay.
· Developing an environment that fosters open and positive team communication by setting expectations, and communicating the company’s goals or objectives.
· Taking care of inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters.
· Ensuring that shipping documents are well kept, updated, and in compliance. Examples include cost statement, health certificates, permits, etc.
· Working in relation to production departments, quality assurance, and supply chain analysts in the organization.
· Examining, identifying, planning and managing special logistics and warehousing processes or operations which involves ensuring that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are accurately maintained.
Warehouse Logistics Manager Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering.
· 5+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations.
· Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
· Strong team player.
· Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports.
· Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
· Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software.
