If you do a great job you will be rewarded with tangible things, as an hypergrowth company there is plenty of opportunities here. You will not find any other place with those ingredients, we have junior people from the University converted into Tehcnical Account Manager in 1 year with 25 years, a Technical Account Manager promoted to Manager in 1 year at the age of 39.
This company expects all from you, but it gives back all as well.

You have to follow the pace of the company continously. It is extremely challenging and not everyone survives. This company just hires A players, and you have to perform as an A player always, there is no room for other performance kind.
Maybe the only big con is that this envirnment requirs a lot of effort and time, and sets the work/life balance in not a good shape.
If you can take this stresfull environment while being always an A player, you will be really happy and succesfull, but if you don't, you will fail here.Advice to ManagementAdvice

I applied online. The process took a week – interviewed at AppDynamics.Interview Details
Got contacted through AngelList. I had the best HR experience ever as she was super nice and gave me every single detail about the interview and compensation and everything else. I had 2 phone interviews. Both were technical in nature. Very basic data structures based questions. My first interview went poorly because the interviewer wasnt able to communicate properly. He asked me to implement a function that returns an integer and I did. Then he said that suppose we call this function 10 million times, how can we optimize it? I started working on improving the function that I wrote. He was not satisfied and then he told me that using HashMap is the right way to optimize. But, what he meant was to use HashMap to store returned 10 million integers and not how to optimize the existing function that returns those integers 1 by 1. There was a lot of miscommunication with that person which I believe led to my rejection. My other interview was not the best but it was satisfactory.
It is a hot company right now because they are releasing an IPO soon. So, better get those RSUs before they launch!
