I worked at Arnold Worldwide as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Great space in the prudential center, but they've since moved, no insight there.
A lot of welcoming people there
Really gives you a feel for big agency life
Met CEO and CFO of Progressive Insurance
Catered lunch screenings, need I say more
    Manicures and Pedicures
    Yoga Classes

    Cons

Bad communication from the supervisors I was interning under
1/2 supervisors left for 3wks without telling me and didn't respond to any emails from me asking where he was or what I should be working on. Not even a 2 second response.
Most of the work I actually did was ad campaigns for school that my mentor at the agency helped me with, but that was because he's a great friend.
Didn't get to see any pitches
Had to read an email talking about how great their internship program was, and about all the things that I never got to experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There needs to be more communication here. If people don't have the time to have an intern they shouldn't be given one just for the sake of having the program. I was one of the only copywriting interns there at the time, and I didn't feel like anyone even cared, save the great friends I actually made there.

To sum it all up. If you want to boast having a "great internship work experience program" maybe you should start by treating your interns like people.

    Interview Details

Typical interview process that began with a few emails, moved to a phone screen, then in person. No curves. Once past the initial screen, the rest of the process seemed more geared toward personality/culture fit.
