I have been working at Bridgepoint Education full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are amazing and you gain experience in a corporate setting. It was a great way for me to learn the ins and outs of the corporate work environment.

    Cons

The position I was in could get monotonous; finding ways to make the workday more enjoyable for entry-level employees could reduce turn-over rate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would benefit employees in entry level positions to gain experience in other job functions. I would suggest an official internal internship or mentoring program to help employees advance their careers.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at Bridgepoint Education in August 2014.

    Interview Details

Applied online, received a call the next day wanting to schedule a phone interview. Completed first and second phone interview within two days. I had done research on the company and realized that the reviews on working there weren't the best and also that the stock price had dropped pretty significantly. I asked the recruiter about this and she said that the company was restructuring. While i understand that, it seemed a little fishy. The position turned out to be a lot more cold-call sales than I was interested in and I'm pretty sure that's the reason they didn't want to move forward with me.
