    I worked at Bridgepoint Education

    Pros

Aesthetically nice work environment. Onsite cafeteria is handy - yet expensive. Central location. Parking is plentiful.

    Cons

You do not feel valued or appreciated as an employee. You are micro-managed if you are a non-exempt employee, and you are not treated like a Professional Adult. Poor communication. There is a distinct hierarchy that exists at Bridgepoint. They have the worst medical insurance. No growth opportunities or training.

Initial contact was a Phone screen. I then had an in person interview which lasted about two and a half hours. There were two individual interviews, one by the director of product delivery and one by the products supervisor. Each were about an hour. I had a skills test after that and then was presented an offer.

not flexible on benefits and PTO. Ask for more money. Trying to get reasonable increases as an employee is difficult, if not impossible.
