    Application Details

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Citrix Systems in August 2014.

    Interview Details

    1 Round-Telephonic for about 40min with a Manager.
I was asked based on my current working profile. I was asked questions on storage and networking concepts as I am from this background.
I was asked about testplanning, designing,entry/exit criterias etc.

Got a call after 10 days and was told to attend further rounds in-house. So scheduled a face to face.
    Following were the rounds:
    1 F2F round:
complete focus on Reasoning and analytical skills in the form of ALGORITHMS and PUZZLES. I did surprisingly very well(as I learnt about algorithms only in college)
    following were some questions:
1)you have a linked list....how do u sort and find the middle element.
2)two linked lists given....at one point both start to pointing same data( they merge), identify the data at which they merge(both lengths are same)
3)two linked lists given....at one point both start to pointing same data( they merge), identify the data at which they merge( lengths are different)
    puzzles:
1)you have two buckets of water with 3lt and 5lt. given unlimited water, give me exactly 4lts
    2)another puzzle

    2 F2F round:
    1)Asked about networking protocols
2)write code for "read a file and count number of words"

    3 F2F:
1)write code for "reverse a string"
2)come up with a test automation strategy, QA strategy(no scenarios given as such)
I think this round screwed me

Was quite happy overall. When asked about my candidature, they said i was in consideration, but not yet confirmed. After about 2 weeks they sent a mail they found a more suitable candidate.
