Current Employee - Student Worker in Hanover, NH (US)

I have been working at Dartmouth part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Consistent pay, relaxed work environment, flexibility, nice natural environment and atmosphere, general friendliness, healthy food options, easy delivery service, promotions available

    Cons

sometimes menial/tedious work, surprise tasks not uncommon, sometimes requiring manual labor, sometimes no A/C in buildings, annoying college students, not always organized

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try and be a little bit more organized, and try to have less excuses, be realistic about when you can complete things. Try to reduce the bad-mouthing of superiors and the scape-goating.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Dartmouth in January 2010.

    Interview Details

Easy interview, I came here and presented in front of lab group. They were cordial and nice throughout the process. I got a tour of the place and loved the greenery. The place is safe and great to raise a family. Very peaceful. Thus, I decided to come here. Only, then I realized this is an empty place for career growth.
